Survived by his sister Margaret; his children: Peter Williamson; Debbie Kennedy; Ruth Wright (Terry); Dan Williamson (Linda); Joy Mogg (Joe). 7 Grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Mary, brother Jim, and grandson, Andrew Kennedy.
John immigrated to Canada from the UK in 1951 and worked in Calgary for several years before permanently settling in Terrace in 1956, where he raised a family and worked in the forest industry.
He left Terrace in 1981 to pursue his farming dream and bought and worked his farm near Cherry Point, Alberta. In 2001, he retired to Fairview, Alberta where he remained until his passing.
A private family gathering was held.
