John passed away peacefully in Abbottsford, on January 24, 2005, at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his sister Helen Downton in 1993. He is survived by his loving family, wife of 48 years, Patricia; 5 children: Michael (Julia), Maureen (Larry) Olson, Shane (Teresa), Jim (Shirley) and Glen (Sophia) and by 20 grandchildren. He was a loving, honest, generous husband, father and friend.
He will be deeply missed. In faith, hope and love we trust in the Cross and
Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
