Born October 6, 1948 in Cochrane, Ontario. Passed away November 5, 2009.
John is survived by his brothers and sisters Lorne (Veronica), Stanley (Rose), Graham (Bonnie), Edward (Deborrah), Shirley (Wesley), Violet (Bryce) and their families.
John is predeceased by his parents Lorne and Rita Burkett and his brother Tommy Burkett.
The family would like to thank the BC Ambulance and Mills emergency staff and everyone for their kindness.
