Joan Elizabeth MacKenzie

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Joan.
Joan was born in Beaverlodge AB to Allan and Betty Cage. She was one of six childen. She spent her first 12 years in Beaverlodge and then her family moved to Terrace in 1971, where she resided for the most part of her remaining years. She passed away in Mills Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side, after a short battle with cancer.
Joan was predeceasd by her mother Betty Cage in October, 1996.
She is survived by her father Allan Cage (Yvonne); sons Kevin (Brandie), Ron (Kate); brothers Roy, Clinton (Marianne); sisters Roxanne (Keith), Lois, Jodi, nieces and nephews Shawna (Travis), Brandon (Allison), Tylor, Trina and geat niece Kate.
We would like to thank all the nurses and doctors who cared for Joan throughout her illness, Charlie Meeks, The Royal Canadian Legion, MacKays Funeral home, Debbie for letting us use her song, and all our friends and family for helping make things a little easier.
