It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother.
Jean was born in Jacquet River, N.B. She was the oldest child of eight, daughter of Sanford and Edna Shannon. In 1947 Jean met the love of her life, Dave and married in October of 1949. They came west to Terrace, B.C. in 1953 planning to be here for only a year and stayed. Together they had 6 children all raised in Terrace, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Jean is predeceased by her brother, Arnold and her daughter, Cathy-anne.
Survived by her husband: Dave; Children: Mike (Gayle), Gail (Gord), Calvin Jordan (son-in-law) Janice (Lloyd), Robert (Katrina), Susan; Grandchildren: Kerri, Matt, Angela (Clint) Shana, Corina (Clayton), Travis (Kayla), Dustin, Nate, Brandon, Teagan; Great-Grandchildren: Brady, Tyra, Jori-Ann, Olivia, Owen, Eli, Tayla.
Sadly missed by her siblings: Eileen, Florence, Raymond (Gertrude), Ardith (Joe) Paul (Pat), Peter, and many nieces and nephews.
A very special Thank you to Dr. Scott McCoach, Dr. lombard, the many caring nurses at Mills Memorial Hospital for their support and compassion; the caring staff at Terraceview Lodge; Father Xavier, the CWl, and the choir at Sacred Heart Church and many friends and neighbours.
