Beloved husband, papa, dad, uncle, brother, friend and sweetheart of us all.
From a small French Canadian village overlooking the St Lawerence river, Jean first came with his family to Terrace in his youth. Here he discovered a family of cousins that welcomed him into their hearts and home and shared and understood his love of music. At an early age he followed his musical dreams. He embraced the excitement and challenges crossing the continent several times with a variety of bands. His achievements included a nomination to the Juno awards.
He came back to Terrace to reconnect with family and settled here for the past 25 years. Marrying Hazel introduced him to the joys and comforts of family life. His gentle presence made him a beloved papa to each of the children and grandchildren. Everyone accepted his love for music, but he loved and was loved in other ways too. His beautiful smile welcomed people into his world. He went out of his way to make people feel comfortable and accepted. His kindnesses were spontaneous and generous. He lived large and never lost his passion to pour his energy and soul into the next dream. He loved, inspired, and blessed us all. He changed our world into a better place and we are grateful to have shared in his journey.
