REDMOND, James William :

Passed away peacefully at the Trinity Care Centre on February 23, 2007 at the age of 88 years.

James will be lovingly remembered by his family; wife of 54 years Margaret, children; Daniel, Laurel, Holly; six grandchildren, sister; Sarah “Sally” Faith of Victoria, BC, nephews, relatives and friends. James was born and raised in a pioneer family from the Nechako Valley. He farmed and logged in Vanderhoof, British Columbia then the Fort St. James area. James later moved to Terrace in 1951 to work in the logging industry predominately as a faller. In Jim’s later years he worked for the Terrace School Board on the maintenance crew. Jim and Margaret retired to Penticton, British Columbia in 1986.

A Family Prayer Service was held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. from Parkview Funeral Chapel, 1258 Main Street, Penticton, BC with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. The family would like to thank the Trinity Care Centre for their loving care. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Parkview Funeral Home.
