It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Alexander Rogers. He was born August 7, 1935 in Merritt, BC and passed away with his family by his side at Mills Memorial hospital in the early hours of January 19, 2017.

Harry moved to Terrace with his wife Davine (Binnie) and son Brent in 1968 to manage the Terrace Spee Dee Printers and Office Products store and soon after became a shareholder within the company. Prior to moving to Terrace, Harry served with the Canadian Air Force being stationed in multiple locations overseas. He was also a dynamic member of the community – a former president of the Terrace Minor Hockey League, Rotary Club of Terrace, and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

He was a well-respected and loved man who cherished his family dearly. His granddaughters were the light of his life.

Harry was pre-deceased by his parents, Alexander and Della Rogers, and wife,

Binnie. Harry leaves behind his son Brent (Leah-Ann), granddaughters (Megan and Christina), sisters (Alice Robertson and Diana Wood) brother (Garry Rogers), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

We will be having a Celebration of Life in the early spring when the weather is milder.

We would like to thank the amazing staff, especially the nursing staff, at Mills Memorial Hospital for the way they took care of Harry over the past few years.
