Gregory John Townsend

Greg passed away peacefully with his wife, daughter, and brother at his side. Greg is predeceased by his mother Jean Smith and brother Jimmy Harrison.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Townsend, daughter Terri Cameron (Al), and grandchildren Tyler Cameron (Alisha), Colby Cameron (Jenn), and Corey Cameron (Quinn). He was blessed with three great-grandchildren Cayden, Aila, and Callie, brothers Terry Harrison (Helen), Kevin Harrison (Brenda), and Danny Smith, sisters Linda Ross (Don), April Hupple (Wayne), and Cynthia McNeil (Frankie).
Greg was proud of creating a business legacy that has continued on as our family business today! We will miss hearing Greg's wonderful stories. He entertained us to the end of his life with stories and jokes! Greg was a kind and generous man who lived with his whole heart. Those who knew him knew that his sweet dog Mindy meant the world to him.
Greg will be missed very much by his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on April 22nd at the Skeena Valley Golf Course at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Terrace Animal Shelter or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
