Born in Prince George B.C. Gordon was the fourth child of 14 children born to Frank and Ethel Hayward. He grew up in the North Newlands and Alexandria area. He served his country overseas from 1942-1946. He was an extremely hard worker giving 110% for a dollars wage. He was a humble man who spoke very little, was true to his word, never quitting. He was always ready to help a brother in need.
Married for almost 32 years he took great joy in being a grandfather expressing unconditional love.
We will always remember his warm smile and his kind eyes. We love you and we miss you.
To the staff at Terraceview Lodge we say "God Bless You All". We appreciate all of you. To our many friends, your prayers and support has eased our journey. Pastor Rob and members of Thornhill Community Church - thanks for everything!
