In Loving Memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving partner, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, Gerald Allen Wilson.
On July 3rd, 2022, he passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 81, after a long and valiant battle with autoimmune disease. Despite his tremendous struggles, he maintained his playful nature and sense of humour to the end.
Family was everything to Gerry, and he was especially cherished by the young people in his life, as he remained, to his passing, the biggest child of us all.
He is predeceased by his father, Harry Wilson, his mother, Majella Wilson, his sisters, Donna Marie Wilson, and Sheila Wilson.
He is survived by his brothers Richard Wilson, Glenn Wilson, and Pat Wilson, as well as his sisters Colleen Maglio and Karen Wong, along with his ex-wife, Donna Wilson.
His best-friend and partner, Carol Morrell, says "he enriched so many lives, especially mine".
He will forever be loved and missed by his daughters and sons, Deanne Carson (John), Jann Marie Forgeron (Terry), Chad Wilson (Kirsty) and Leah Jones (Carey), and their families.
Forever a super-hero grandfather to your nine grand-children, "We love you more"!
