With sadness and heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our loving husband, Father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, uncle and friend.

Fred was predeceased by his son Richard, grandsons Paul and Daniel and great granddaughter Quinn Prevost.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Norma, daughters Barbara Grelson (Randy), Kelly Yasinchuk (Wade), son Kurt King (Carrie), 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Fred was a veteran of the 2nd world war serving with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers as a tank driver, he saw active duty in France.

Music was a big part of Fred's life, playing his guitar, singing and listening to the "old" classic country songs. He was happy and proud to see his great granddaughter Payton Prevost so dedicated to music, singing, playing piano and also dance.

Freds greatest joy was to be surrounded by his family.

The family wish to express their gratitide to the First Responders, BC Ambulance Services, Mills Memorial staff, Drs. Lotz, Lim, Kenyon and Drouin. A special thanks to Kathrine Lund, Mike Prevost, Scott and Cheryl Spencer and all the many friends and family who gave their support in our time of need.

Forever in our hearts
