In loving memory of

Francis James Broome

November 15, 1930 to February 26, 2011

Frank was born in Castor, Alberta to Gordon and Margaret Broome on November 15, 1930. He is predeceased by his father, Gordon and step-mother Elsa, sisters Beulah and Phyllis and his brother in-law Don Felt.

Frank passed away peacefully the afternoon of February 26, 2011at home in the arms of his loving wife of 57 years, Edith Broome.

Frank and Edith moved from Chilliwack to the Terrace area in 1968 and started “CeeBee Falling Company.” He worked as a faller in the forest industry until 1986. He moved back to Chilliwack and worked a saddle and shoe repair company. Frank retired in 1995 and moved back to Terrace in 2005 to spend his last years close to his children and grandchildren.

Frank lived a full and happy life where he walked to the beat of his own drum and passed away in the same manner. In his younger life he rode in rodeos and was a great horse trainer. As the years passed he loved to get out on his motorcycle and just travel. He also enjoyed taking his grandchildren fishing, camping and teaching them about the outdoors. This took up most of his free time in the later part of his life.

Frank is loved, respected and missed by the people he has left behind. Wife Edith, sons: Robert (Theresa), Greg (Marion), and David Broome and daughter, Doris Vales (Albert). Grand children: Jason, Myles, Leaha, Elissa, Teagahn, Liam, and Kailee. Great grandchildren: Julius, Olivia and Eli. His surviving sister: Violet Felt and her children Blaine and Cheryl.
