It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Evelyn Francis nee Robinson. She was a compassionate and caring mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She is predeceased by partner Allan Dubeau, husband Terrel Francis, sister Dorothy MacDonald, brother Frank Robinson, and daughter-in-law Pamela Francis. She is survived by her four sons Terry, Kelly (Diane), Kevin (Deborah) and Glen (Ethel), 8 grand-children, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, extended family Ben (Sue), Lauren and Yvonne (Dan) and their families. Evelyn was born in Rabbit Lake, Sask. in 1932 and grew up in the area before settling in North Battleford with husband Terrel Francis and four young sons.
In 1964, the family moved to Terrace.Evelyn will be remembered for her years working at Lakelse Pharmacy, Terrace Drugs and Northern Health Care, she loved good food and good company and spending time at the cabin at Lakelse Lake with Allan. She played on the seniors softball, bowling and curling teams. She was an active member of the Daughter's of the Nile and enjoyed her many friendships. She will be missed by all that knew her.
