Ernie Heppner, long-time resident of Terrace, BC, passed away on July 5, 2019 in the Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital.
Ernie was 75 years old. He was an avid fisherman and hunter; worked in the logging industry; and loved the outdoors.
Ernie was loved by his family and leaves behind his wife Leslie; daughter Susie (Dave); son Rich, daughter Cheryl (Brent); grandchildren Kaden, Ryan, Kellen, and Logan; sisters Frieda and Mary.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at the Royal Inland Hospital and specialists Dr. Kenyon, Dr. Marcotte, and Dr. Kambo for the excellent care he received. Ernie will be missed by his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made in Ernie's name to the Kidney Foundation or the BC Lung Association.
