Betty was born and raised in Sask. She married Eldon J. Robertson in 1944. Together they were prairie farmers until they retired in Abbotsford, BC. After Eldon's passing, Betty moved to Terrace, BC to be closer to her sister Anne.
Betty taught school in a rural district for 12 years. She won several awards for her oil paintings of prairie scenes and flower gardening. She had a good sense of humor, traveled, and loved animals. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Betty's ashes will be interned in Balcarres, Sask. next to her husband Eldon.
