It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Doreen Lacroix at age of 60. Doreen passed away at home with the comfort of her beloved family by her side in Gatineau Qc on June 24, 2016. Doreen will be missed by her husband, Gilles Lacroix, daughter Michelle, son-in-law Eric, grandsons Gabriel and Bastien, her granddaughter Mayah and many friends from over the years.
Doreen was born in Rock Island, Quebec on May 2, 1956. She was the youngest of three children. Doreen is predeceased by her parents Edward Fraser and Elsie Belknap of Rock Island Qc.
She had an incredible love for life and always was there for her family.
Nana will be remembered for her passion of quilting, gardening, and love of animals.
Service will be held in the future in Gatineau and Baldwins Mills Qc. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Terrace Cat Rescue”.
