It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a beautiful woman inside and out, Dolores Falardeau. Dolores was a mother of five, grandma to many, sister, friend, aunt, and cousin.
Anyone who knew Dolores or crossed her path knew how powerful and strong of a woman she was. She was born in St Moise, Quebec and moved to Terrace in 1963 where she raised her 5 children and lived a majority of her life.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and would often take them into her care while their parents were working. Dolores loved to play crib with anyone who came by to visit and everyone knew how big of a deal it was when you skunked her in a game.
Christmas was her favourite time of the year and even when times were hard, she always found a way to give, be positive, and to be strong for her family. She fought a short courageous battle with cancer and passed away peacefully surrounded by family and close friends.
She joins her loving partner Bill, her sisters; Lisette and Monique, her brother; Gaetan, and recently joining her is her son, James.
There will be a void in the lives of her children, grandchildren, siblings, friends, and anyone's path she may have crossed.
Many thanks go out to the palliative and homecare teams in Terrace, with their support Dolores was able to be comfortable in her home with her family. Due to COVID-19 restrictions her burial will happen in the summer of 2021 along with her son James.
Please consider making a donation to Kimmunity Angels in Terrace, BC.
In our hearts forever and always.
