Dianne Isabel

JOHNSON

(nee Batting)

Passed away peacefully on Sept. 10, 2008 with family by her side.

Dianne was born on Jan. 30, 1947 in Prince Albert, Sask. She married her sweetheart, Chris Johnson, in 1964 in Edmonton. They later moved to Terrace, where they raised their 2 sons, and after 40 years in the north, they moved to Penticton in 2006.

Dianne was a hard working and fun loving person. She was courageous, determined and kind. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She shared stories and had a wonderful sense of humour. She was also an avid gardener and cook. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

Dianne will be fondly remembered and cherished by her loving husband Chris, her children Kelly (Betty) of Vanderhoof and Lou (Karen) of Penticton, her grandchildren Cassidy, Jake and Max, her siblings Victor (Linda), Bill (Lynn), Irene (Lawrence) and Blondie, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private family celebration of life will be held in October. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Dianne to Moog and Friends Hospice House, 1701 Government St, Penticton BC, V2A 8J7 or to the Terraceview Lodge.
