February 17, 1930 - July 1, 2010
An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping, Denis loved the grandeur of nature. Also a great sportsman, he was a well known fastball pitcher in the Victoria area and up in the Peace Country.
He worked hard all his life to provide for a large family (Mike, Joe, Del, Doreen, Jackie, Dan & Toni). First as a welder, carpenter and later with the Department of Highways in Terrace and Fernie, finally retiring to the Island with his cherished wife Barb.
He’s now played his final inning and is off to the happy hunting ground.
