February 8, 1963 - March 22, 2019
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a loving wife and mother, Dahrlyne Stephens (nee Carlsen), who left this world peacefully during the early morning hours of March 22, 2019.

Dahrlyne leaves behind her heartbroken husband Grant, son Scott Forget and daughter Brittney Forget, stepsons Timothy and Matthew Stephens, mother Marnie Dubrule,

brothers Lance and Burny, and sister Karmel, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Colin Carlsen, and stepfather Denis Dubrule, former husband Terry Forget, young son Shawn Forget, and stepson Bradley Stephens.

Born in Winnipeg and of Ukrainian descent, Dahrlyne was a superb cook as guests always looked forward to tasting her homemade perogies and cabbage rolls on special occasions and holidays. Bowling, playing bingo and blackjack, singing karaoke, and dancing were among her enjoyed pastimes.

Dahrlyne had a lively and bubbly personality. She was a very caring person, as she was always willing to lend a hand, and this trait was more than exemplified during her 20 year career in the health care field, working with mentally challenged adults.

Dahrlyne leaves behind many memories for her family and friends to cherish, and will forever be in our hearts.

We would like to thank the paramedics and Mills Memorial Hospital doctors and nurses for their care

during Dahrlyne's final hours.

A celebration of life will be held at the Skeena Valley Golf and Country Club on April 20, 2019 from 12 noon to 3 pm.
