On this day the lake raged in sorrow.
The wind howled in pain as you left
We struggled with questions

That night as we felt pain,
The sky danced with northern lights
Maybe it was you telling us you suffered no more
I wish I could have fixed you.
The day after you left us the sun lit up your mountains
Probably to warm your face
Probably to say you made it to your special place.
