It is with heavy hearts that we announce Charles "Chuck" Henry Bernard, a long time resident of Terrace, B.C. passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Terrace View Lodge. He was 62 years old.
He was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, December 27, 1956, but moved to the west coast to pursue work as a teenager. He moved to Terrace in 1983 where he met and fell in love with his wife of 35 years.
"Loogan" known to most, cherished his family, neighbours and friends, all of whom he had a nickname for and all of whom he loved. Logan loved all things music and partly joking, liked animals more than people.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Bernard, Children Mandy, Andrew, Amy, Daniel & Tamara. He was a proud Grandpa to seven grand children and is further survived by his sisters and brother and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom had a special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his mother Rose Bernard, and his chosen parents Joe and Delma of Ste. Rose, Manitoba.
With respect to Chuck's wishes, no funeral services will be held. The family would like to thank the hospital staff at Mills Memorial Hospital, Terrace View Lodge and his Doctor, all of whom took loving care.
