It is with great sadness the family of Betty Newlove announces her passing on September 22, 2020 at the age of 90.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas in 1999, her son Ron in 2019, and son-in-law Scotty in 2017. She will be lovingly remembered by her four surviving children, Linda (Erik), Brenda, Murray, Cheryl, as well as her six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Betty was passionate about volunteerism and service, and continued this in her retirement by spending her time at the Happy Gang Centre for almost 20 years. It was there she made many new friends and was famous for her delicious homemade pies. Betty will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity, and grace.
The family is sincerely grateful to Dr. Jordan Hynd, Home Care, and the Palliative Care nurses for their compassion and support this difficult time.
Betty will always be in our hearts and may she rest in peace.
The family will be having a private Celebration of Life to honour our wonderful mom due to Covid-19 restrictions.
