Beatrice Barbara Davis passed away peacefully on January

9th, 2017 at the age of 88.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Matthew and brothers Henry, Harold, Harry and Herb and her parents Matilda and Fredrick Burke.

She leaves behind her daughter Myrna McLane of Hazelton, BC and grandchildren Jennifer Patsey, Ronald Patsey Jnr., Cheridan Derik and Herbert Patsey, her sisters Marg Thompkins, Edith Beck (Gus), Grace Barlett and sister-in-law Dode Burke and many many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bea was born in Cedarvale, BC in 1928. She was the second oldest of eight children. In those days she worked very hard being the oldest girl, as their Mom was ill, Bea had a great deal of responsibility. She never ceased working hard. After their Mom passed, they moved to Telkwa where their Dad worked in a mine. It was in Telkwa where she met and married Matt Davis. Matt was a faller in a logging camp and Bea became the cook. They were married for

60 years.

Bea was a very talented cook, gardener and craft person. She often was gifting people her treasures she created and we will cherish those now forever.

Bea will be dearly missed and always loved by all. There are many broken hearts that will think of her often and forever.

Thank you Bea for being the wonderful person you were and the many lessons you taught us.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Servaas Swart for his kindness and caring of Bea.
