Annette Joyce Creek

It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of Annette Creek.
Survived by her children, Terry (Rick), Dale, Peggy (Dan), Carol and Audra, grandchildren Matthew (Crystal), Melissa (Kalvin), Candace (Devon), Kaitlynn (Brad), Shannan (Jono), Nicholle (Devon), Kayan and twelve great-grandchildren. Predeseased by husband Clifford Creek, parents Oscar and Myrtle Amunson, sisters Esther, Sylvia, June, Karen, Verna, Diane, Margia, Edith and brother Earl.
Annette was born in Provost, AB and spent her childhood years in Edmonton. She married Clifford on July 9, 1954 and moved to Terrace, BC in 1964. Mom worked at Greg's Red and White Corner Store then the Terrace Co-Op Bakery for a number of years.
Mom's favourite past-time was being with her grandkids and later on, her great grandkids. Mom enjoyed a good book and working on her flower garden. She always enjoyed a houseful of company and would often wake up to young people sleeping on her couch.
Mom was a very special woman and will be greatly missed by her children, son-in-laws and especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous friends. A special thank you to Audra and Peggy for the care of mom in her last few days.
The family would like to thank Dr. Fourie and the Nurses at the Cancer Care Unit as well as Dr. Strydom and Kimmunity Angels for all their help and support.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kimmunity Angels. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2190 Churchill Dr. in Terrace BC on June 1, 2019 at 2 pm.
