Andrew (Andy) Kirk Lukasser passed away June 12 2013 at the age of 35 after a short courageous battle with cancer. Andy was born and raised in Terrace. He attended Thornhill Primary, Elementary and Secondary School before attending and graduating
from Caledonia High School. He then did courses at the College where he received a Food Prep. Diploma. He was employed at Cafenara, J & F Distributers and the Pita Pit until he was diagnosed with cancer. He was a great spectator of sports. He especially loved hockey and was passionate about any sport that involved sports stats.
Leaving to mourn his loss are his parents Hans and Deanna Lukasser, brothers John (Diane), Philip (Renee) and sister Lynda (Chad) and his precious nephew and nieces; Kayden, Natasha, Isabella, Juliet, Chelsey and Grace. He had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Terrace, Vancouver, Ontario, Minnesota and Europe that also mourn his loss. Last but not least his cat and companion, Cleo.
The family would like to thank all the friends who attended the service and the gathering at our home afterwards. We thank you for the support and the generous donations of food and for all the donations to the Thornhill Animal Shelter in his name. Also, thank you so much to the oncology and emergency staff at Mills Memorial Hospital.
We are grateful for the time we all shared with him. The children will certainly miss his patience and willingness to spend time with them. He will always be in our hearts and we will love and miss him forever.
