Alvin Robert Hobenshield was born in Terrace, BC April 1938 and passed away on March 7, 2018.
Alvin was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Peggy (Margaret Johnson).
He is survived by children Robert (Teresa), Diane (Michael), Lin (Ed) and grandchildren Alek, Halyna, Kat, Kim, Cassie, Liam & Chase. He is also mourned by companion Marlene.
Alvin will be remembered for his love of family & friends & for his involvement in the community.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Eagles Hall in Campbell River Sunday May 20, 2018 from 2-4 pm.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or BC Children's Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
