Allan A. Bury, 78, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 4, 2022.
Allan was born on February 15, 1943 in Edgworth, England to Walter and Jessie Bury. The family emigrated to Canada when Allan was a young child.
Allan completed his Automotive Apprenticeship Certificate in 1964. Allan landed his first job as an automotive repairman in Terrace, BC that same year. Allan also met his future wife, Donna, that same year and they wed in Terrace in June 1965 going on to have two children: Lee and Tracy.
Allan was a force of nature and was determined to provide a life for his family he felt they deserved. Allan was passionate about automobiles his entire life. You could find Allan working on vehicles any chance he could find. His career as an automotive repairman spanned 40 years and trained many apprentices to follow in his steps, with some going on to own their own businesses. Allan was considered one of the best in his field.
Allan was predeceased by his parents Walter and Jessie.
Allan is survived by his wife Donna, his two children Lee (Jayne), Tracy (Gordon), two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
At Allan's request, no services will be held. The family requests no flowers or donations be sent.
