Alison Michelle STURKO
May 29, 1961 - May 21, 2008
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alison Sturko after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.
Alison was born in Edmonton, Alberta on May 29. She was predeceased by her father Edward in 1991 and is survived by her son Hesten, mother Doris, sister Wendy (Paul), brother Dean and sister Tammi (Carlos) and her nieces and nephews Nathan, Thomas, Leland, Walker (mother Trish), Justin, Cole and Mikaela. Alison also had many friends, one especially - Bernie Allen.
A special thanks from the family to Dr. Fourie, Dr. Brown and all the nurses at Mills Memorial Hospital who helped make her as comfortable as
possible in her last days.
No service by request. Celebration of life will be held at the Group Campsite at Lakelse Picnic Site on Wednesday, June 4 at 6:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to B.C. Cancer Society.
