TAKE NOTICE THAT a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in the 1st floor boardroom at 4545 Lazelle Avenue in Terrace, B.C., commencing at 6:00 p.m., to receive representation from all persons who deem their interests in the property to be affected by the proposed bylaw:
Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine Electoral Area E, Thornhill Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 792, 2024
THE SUBJECT PROPERTY: Bylaw No. 792, 2024 affects the hatched area shown on the accompanying map, legally described as: Lot A, District Lot 1429, Range 5 Coast District, Plan 11688.
THE INTENT: In general terms, the intent is to do a site-specific text amendment of the Thornhill Zoning Bylaw No. 194 to permit three additional dwelling units in the RM1 – Four Family Residential zone. The purpose of this rezoning is to legitimize the additional units in the existing building on the subject property only. The subject property is located at 2382 Thornhill Street.
PUBLIC INPUT DETAILS: Any person(s) wishing to provide input regarding this application are requested to do so in writing to the Regional District Board via email at planning@rdks.bc.ca or by letter, mailed or delivered to 300-4545 Lazelle Avenue, Terrace, BC, V8G 4E1, no later than 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2024, and please quote “Bylaw No. 792, 2024”, in your written submission.

The public hearing on Bylaw No. 792, 2024, will be held by a delegation of Directors of the Regional District Board or their designated alternates. A copy of the Board resolution making the delegation, the application, and the proposed Bylaw No. 792, 2024 may be inspected online and between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, in the office of the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine, 300-4545 Lazelle Avenue, Terrace, B.C.
