Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 23 calls for service from March 13-14.
Here are some of the calls:
A man refused to leave a location on Hall Street. He left prior to police attendance.
A residential panic alarm was received for an address on Pear Street. Police attended. The alarm was triggered accidentally.
A 34-year-old woman died at the hospital. Police provided assistance to the coroner.
A man turned himself in on a warrant at the Terrace RCMP detachment.
An intoxicated man was reported at a business on Lakelse Avenue. Police attended and located the man nearby. EHS transported the man to hospital.
A person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and taken to hospital.
Police received a report of a possibly impaired driver on Queensway Drive. Patrols were made.
A man was passed out at a business on Grieg Avenue. He was gone upon police arrival.
Several intoxicated people were reported near a building on Greig Avenue. The group was gone upon police attendance.
Plates and insurance papers were reported missing from a vehicle in Kitsumkalum.
Police received a report of slander. Police spoke with the man and suggested pursuing the issue civilly. A lost validation decal was reported.
A person reported her iPod had been taken. Police investigated.
Police attended a structure fire on Attree Road to assist Thornhill Fire Department. No injuries reported.
A false alarm was received for an address on Park Avenue. Police attended and everything appeared secure and undamaged.
A group of youths were observed throwing snowballs at cars at Kenney Street and Graham Avenue. Police patrolled the area.
A youth was reported missing. The youth was located by police.
A woman was reported missing. She returned to her expected location shortly after.
An abandoned 911 call was received from an address on Olson Avenue. Police attended and confirmed everything to be fine.
