A 93-year-old woman was attempting to help a stranger when she was robbed by the very same stranger.

On Thursday, August 29th, at approximately noon, the elderly woman was sitting in the passenger seat of a white Subaru in the parking lot of Service BC on Eby St. when she was approached by a woman asking for $2.

When she opened her wallet to give her some money, the woman saw cash and reached out to grab it.

The elderly woman struggled with her and managed to keep her wallet but not before the thief made off with an amount of cash in $20 bills.

The thief is described as a woman of medium build with silvery bushy hair.
