Vehicle breaks down on highway after leaving service shop in Terrace, B.C.

During the same time period, five people were lodged in Terrace cells – three of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

Group of people drinking alcohol on Lakelse Ave. The group dispersed prior to police attendance.

A woman rummaging through garbage on Lakelse Ave. and leaving a mess. Checks of the area were done.

A man in a white Toyota dumped his garbage in behind Sears on Kalum St. Police spoke with the people involved.

A man in a blue van approached a 13-year-old girl and asked her if she wanted to make some money. Under investigation.

False business alarm on Lakelse Ave.

An intoxicated man spit at an employee of a motel on Lakelse Ave. when he was asked to move along. Police arrested the 19-year-old man.

A group of people drinking in an alley off of Lazelle Ave. Polices spoke with a group.

A wallet containing various cards, ID, and cash was turned into the detachment and returned to its owner.

Intoxicated man refusing to leave a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. He left prior to police attendance. Checks of the area were done.

A white Dodge Ram with a burnt out tail light and the licence plate covering the other tail light. Police spoke with the people involved.

A man with an injury to his face requesting police assistance on Lakelse Ave. Police spoke with the man. He was not cooperative. Further details were not obtained.

A woman bothering customers inside and outside of a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. Police spoke with a woman matching the description provided.

Man passed out in a washroom at a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. Police spoke with the man. He was resting.

Police observed an intoxicated woman staggering down Lakelse Ave. The 26-year-old woman was arrested.

Elsewhere Terrace

Abandoned vehicle. Police spoke with the people involved. It was miscommunication.

A woman was assaulted in the Walmart parking lot. Investigation determined that the incident stemmed from the woman driving too fast in the parking lot and almost striking a person in a wheelchair. This led to pictures being taken, offence to pictures being taken, physical altercation, and a drink being thrown and a shopping cart tipped over. No injuries.

A 19-year-old woman was apprehended under the Mental Health Act.

Harassment complaint. Under investigation.

A woman passed out in the George Little Park. Police transported a 22-year-old woman to an alternate location.

A warrant was issued for 37 yr old man for failing to comply with probation.

Missing 12 yr old girl. Police located the girl. She was not missing.

False business alarm on Hwy 16 west.

A man passed out in the grass on Kalum St. exposed to the sun. Police arrested a 36-year-old man.

Screaming and smashing noises on Tetrault St. Numerous checks of the area were done and people were spoken with.

An intoxicated man with a small child inside Copperside on Kalum St. He left prior to police attendance.

Familial dispute on Graham Ave. Police spoke with the people involved. A resolution was reached.

A child crying in a trailer park on Kalum St. Checks of the area were done.

Abandoned 911 call. Police spoke with a man who was sleeping on his couch. He had called 911 to scare a family member into leaving when they had refused to go.

A tool bag contained numerous tools was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Tuck Ave. The bag was found later in the day and returned to the owner.

A warrant was issued for a 22-year-old woman for failing to comply with probation.

A woman ran a red light on Keith Ave. and almost struck a pedestrian. Police spoke with the people involved. The matter had already resolved itself.

A person driving fast to escape a dog living at his house. Police spoke with the man.

Familial dispute. A 20-year-old man not following the rules of the house and brought drugs into the home. Police spoke with the people involved and a resolution was reached.

Intoxicated driver in a black Dodge truck leaving Boston Pizza. Under investigation.

Woman passed out in the George Little Park. Checks determined that the woman had a warrant for her arrest. Police arrested the 22-year-old woman.

911 call. A 12-year-old youth requested police assistance with a family member. It was a medical issue.

An iPhone was found near Mills Memorial Hospital.

Missing 13-year-old girl. Police located the girl walking around and transported her home.

Missing 17-year-old girl. She was located and refused to cooperate with police.

Intoxicated woman passed out on the sidewalk on Kalum St. The 42-year-old woman was transported to an alternate location.

A man out drinking with friends refusing to behave as a responsible adult. Not a police matter.

A man walking around with a metal bar. Police spoke with the man. No offence committed.

A woman drinking alcohol in George Little Park with her five-year-old child present. Checks of the area were done.

Stolen car. It was not stolen. Miscommunication.

Breach of a no contact condition. Police spoke with the people involved. Unsubstantiated.

Thornhill

Theft of a skateboard and the thief sold the skateboard on Facebook. Conflicting versions of events received involving debts owed.

A person bought a lamp in a private sale then tried to return it and uttered threats when the person wouldn’t take it back. A conflicting version of events was received from the other person. In the end, it was a $15 lamp and a resolution was reached.

Rural

A red SUV broken down in the middle of Hwy 113 in a curve. Police spoke with the registered owner. They had just left a service shop in Terrace and felt that a tire was wobbly. The wheel eventually sheered the bolts and came right off the vehicle. A tow was called.

Stolen vehicle. It wasn’t stolen. A friend had borrowed it.

Missing 13-year-old girl. She was located and was fine.

A green Kawasaki motorcycle travelling well over the speed limit on Hwy 37. Checks of the area were done.

A white truck being driven in an erratic manner on Hwy 37. Checks of the area were done.

Theft of gas investigation.

A white 2010 Chevrolet Express Van was pulled over on Hwy 37 at the Lakelse Lake Campground entrance. The driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a warn. He was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition. He did not have a valid driver’s licence.

Two men smoking marijuana in a vehicle parked on Hemlock St. Checks of the area were done and the registered owner was contacted.

A woman covered in blood asking to use the telephone at a residence. Checks of the area were done.

A grey 2002 Hyundai was pulled over on Hwy 37 at the Lakelse Lake Campground entrance. The 19-year-old driver was prohibited from driving. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A red 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 was pulled over on Hwy 37 at the Lakelse Lake Campground entrance. The 23-year-old driver provided a sample of breath that resulted in a warn. He was issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

A silver 2012 Chevrolet Crew cab truck was pulled over on Hwy 37 at the Lakelse Lake Campground entrance. The 23-year-old driver provided a sampled of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
