Over the past 24 hours these are some of the events Terrace RCMP responded to:

Downtown Terrace

- an intoxicated male was arrested for breach of peace at a residence on Greig Ave

Elsewhere In Terrace

- a 2004 grey Honda Civic parked Eastbound on Davis Ave was damaged in a hit and run at about midnight on the night of Sept 25/26. The rear bumper area was smashed in.

- A male was arrested at a break and enter at Pro Paints on Hwy 16 West at 6 PM. Terrace Forensic Identification Service were called out to assist with the investigation. The male was released on a Promise to Appear with conditions. Charges are being recommended.

- A 13 year old male youth stole money from his mother at a residence on Kalum St.

- A bear was hit on Hwy 16 East. The bear was not located. Damage to the vehicle was minor.

Thornhill

- A 1997 green Chrysler car parked in a business parking lot on Rifle Range Road had its driver’s side window smashed out by a large rock

- A 1997 brown Jeep Cherokee parked at J & R had its window smashed out by a large rock

Kitsumkalum, Kulspai, Gitaus

Rural

- mushroom picker was reported missing, but was located shortly after

- a female was arrested for public intoxication on Hwy 16 West. BC Ambulance was called and they transported the female to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment.

The female was then transported back to RCMP Detachment cells. The female made several threats towards an RCMP member. Charges are being recommended.
