Used car stripped in dealer's lot

Terrace RCMP said the 2010 model also had its tires stolen sometime overnight.

TERRACE RCMP responded to approximately 25 calls for service from September 17, 8 a.m. till September 18, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, there were seven people lodged in Terrace Cells – two of these people were lodged for public intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

Man passed out in a wheelchair in front of the Cold Beer and Wine Store on Lakelse Ave. Police arrested a 28-year-old man for breaching his recognizance and undertaking. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

Elsewhere Terrace

A 2010 Honda Fit was lifted, stripped, and had its tires stolen in the Honda Parking Lot sometime overnight.

A wallet was found. To be returned to its owner.

An intoxicated man was possibly assaulted with a pipe. Under investigation.

A wallet was turned in to be returned to its owner.

A man was observed to be making a woman touch him in a sexual manner against her will. Police located and spoke with the couple. Unsubstantiated.

A man making inappropriate comments to a woman. Under investigation.

A man wanted a woman removed from their joint residence due to ongoing illegal activity. Police spoke with the woman who agreed to leave the residence.

Possible shots fired. Investigation led police to believe it was fireworks.

Intoxicated man and woman causing traffic problems on Park Ave./Clinton St. Police arrested a 40-year-old woman for public intoxication. She was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police arrested the same woman a short time later on Tetrault St. for public intoxication.

A child heard screaming. Police spoke with the people involved. The child was safe.

A man interrupted two younger intoxicated girls going through his unlocked vehicle while parked at Walmart. Checks were done of the area.

Domestic disturbance. Verbal argument. No offence committed.

Internal theft at a business.

False business alarm on Keith Ave.

A woman receiving bothersome phone calls from a man. Under investigation.

Intoxicated group being noisy near the Back Eddy Pub. Police spoke with the group.

A man wandering the hospital making people feel uneasy. Police spoke with 42-year-old man and he left.

Thornhill

A suspicious truck parked near Newell Ave. Police located the white 2005 Ford F150. It had mismatched plates and no insurance. It was towed.

Rural

A white Dodge truck with a mountain landscape in the back window almost hit a woman. Her shoelaces were run over.

A woman feeling creeped out by a man at her place of work. Police spoke with the woman and advice was given on the matter

A young woman walking alone on Hwy 16 towards Prince Rupert.

Motor vehicle incident on Hwy 16 halfway between Terrace and China Bar.

Gitaus

Intoxicated man refusing to leave a residence. He left prior to police attendance. The woman was uncooperative with any further investigation.
