During the same time period, seven people were lodged in Terrace cells – four of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

A black 2012 GMC Terrain was making a turn when a man walked into the side of the vehicle. The man appeared uninjured and walked away without exchanging info.

Erratic driver in a blue Ford Explorer in a parking lot off Lakelse Ave.

A black truck and a white car collided on Kalum St./Park Ave. Police attended the location but nobody was there.

Intoxicated man refusing to leave the playground of a school during school hours. The 58-year-old man was arrested.

Traffic hazard. Chevrolet Avalanche pumping water onto Greig Ave. on the south side of the mall. Police spoke with the people involved. An area in the mall was flooded and a pump was being used to ensure a business did not get flooded out. No issues.

Disturbance in behind the Inn of the West. Police conducted checks of the area.

Police observed a group of three drinking alcohol on the steps of the Spirit Nightclub. Alcohol was dumped. One man was transported to an alternate location.

An intoxicated man reported that he was almost hit in a crosswalk at Clinton St./Lakelse Ave. Checks were done of the area. Further information could not be obtained.

False business alarm on Lakelse Ave.

A woman requested police assistance claiming she was stabbed. She left prior to police attendance. Investigation determined who the woman was and police were able to locate her in a driveway. She appeared uninjured and highly intoxicated but continued to say she was stabbed so police transported the woman to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment. She was not injured. She was transported to an alternate location and left in the care of a sober person.

A man passed out on the ground in behind the Coast. Police arrested a 32-year-old man.

Erratic driver in a green Ford van on Greig Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Elsewhere Terrace

A squatter on a property on Tetrault St. Police spoke with a 60-year-old man and he moved on.

A warrant was issued for a 21-year-old man. It was executed right away.

Theft of a laptop computer from a home on Loen Ave. It is described as black HP Pavilion, several stickers on it.

A warrant was issued for a 46-year-old woman for failing to comply with probation.

Person passed out in George Little Park. Police arrested a 31-year-old woman.

Theft of numerous items from a residence on Straume Ave. A black LG 3D TV with remote, a black Sony PS3 with 2 controls and games, and a Samsung surround sound system were stolen.

Missing 14-year-old boy. He was located.

Suspicious person carrying a blue backpack observed in the area of the 4300 block of Lakelse Ave. He ran off when confronted. Checks were done of the area.

Out of control patient at Mills Memorial Hospital. Police were cancelled prior to attendance.

Intoxicated man refusing to leave a residence on Tetrault St. He left prior to police attendance. He returned a couple hours later. Police arrested the 33-year-old man for breaching the condition of no consume alcohol on two separate undertakings. He is held for court.

Threats were uttered on a school bus. Under investigation.

Threats were uttered. Police spoke with a person.

A man reported a theft of medication and cigarettes. Unsubstantiated.

Out of control youth destroying a government building and assaulting staff. Police arrested the 14-year-old boy and he is held for court.

Warrants were issued for a 19-year-old man, 29-year-old man, and a 25-year-old man for failing to attend court.

Domestic assault. Under investigation. Conflicting stories received.

Stolen phone. It is unclear if the phone is actually stolen.

Wandering dog on Keith Ave. Police transported the dog to the Terrace Animal Shelter.

Abandoned 911 call. Numerous queries were made. Under investigation.

Group of people in the ATM vestibule of the TD Bank. Police spoke with a group of six who had a cell phone plugged in and were listening to music. The group was moved on.

A yellow 1988 Dodge truck was stolen shortly after 7 a.m. this morning at a residence in the 4900 block of Park Ave.

Assist Ministry of Children and Families with three investigations.

Erratic driver in a grey 2013 Sienna minivan. Police spoke with the people involved.

A purse was found and returned to its owner.

Thornhill

Theft of medication.

A red truck being driven in an erratic manner. Further details were not obtained.

Concerns over drug use, rage issues, and possibly a domestic assault. Police spoke with the people involved and requested the assistance of Northern Mental Health.

AWOL 28-year-old woman. She returned on her own accord a short time later.

A wallet was found and returned to its owner.

Police pulled over a blue 2001 Chevrolet Uplander Van. The vehicle did not have insurance. The 21-year-old driver did not have a driver's licence. The front licence plate was not associated to the vehicle. A driving prohibition was served on the driver. The vehicle was towed.

Rural

Suspicious noises at a residence on Hwy 16 east. Police observed numerous bear attractants and suspects this may have caused the noises.

Trespassers on a rural property in Old Remo. They were rude when spoken with by the property owner. Police attended to a residence and spoke with two men and explained that all power lines are not public access, depending on location some power lines are private property.

Assist Kamloops RCMP with investigation.

Abandoned vehicle in the ditch on Westside Rd. A purple Honda Civic had major front end damage and both airbags deployed. Police spoke with the registered owner of the vehicle.

A white 1998 Dodge truck in the ditch at Merkley Rd./Dover Rd. Police spoke with the registered owner.

Police apprehended a 58-year-old man under the Mental Health Act.

Damage to a trailer parked at a property on Merkley Rd. A window was smashed and a freezer door ripped off.

Well-being check. The woman was fine. A misunderstanding.

A bike was found on Hwy 37 in the ditch. It is a green Apache 10 speed mountain bike.

A white 2001 Ford F150 truck passed a school bus on Queensway Dr. while children were getting off the bike.

A black 2011 Ford F350 truck passed a school bus when children were getting on it on Hemlock St./Aspen.

Gitaus

Possible breach of a no contact order. Police spoke with the people involved and were met with hostility and zero cooperation.

Assist New Hazelton RCMP with warrant execution.

Angry intoxicated man picking fights and refusing to leave a residence. He left prior to police attendance. Police located the man walking down the street. The 39-year-old man was arrested. He continued to cause problems and fought with another incarcerated person.
