Tip line receives award

THE TERRACE Crimestoppers group and the Terrace RCMP have been given an award for the highest number of cases cleared due to tips received for a population between 20 000 and 80 000.

The award was presented at a CrimeStoppers conference May 14 in Kelowna.

CrimeStoppers is a non profit organization dedicated to solving crime within the community by accepting information on crime and protecting the identity of the tipster.
