Three men beat and rob homeless man

TERRACE RCMP are asking for the public's help in finding three men who seriously beat and robbed a homeless man of $12 on Sept. 11.

TERRACE RCMP are asking for the public's help in finding three men who seriously beat and robbed a homeless man of $12 the evening of Sept. 11.

A man and woman called for help after they found the 61-year-old man, who had been walking in behind the Skeena Mall shortly after 9 p.m. when he was attacked from behind by the three men and robbed.

He was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital by Emergency Health Services for treatment of serious injuries, said police.

The first man is described as First Nations, short, 5 ft. 5 inches, short hair, faint mustached, and chubby.

The second man is described as 6 ft. tall, slender, and had dark hair that was below the ears.

These two men were familiar to the victim and have been seen around town. No description of the third man was given.
