A morning raid on a Lazelle Ave. residence led to several arrests and the seizure of illegal narcotics and firearms, according to a press release from the Terrace RCMP.

As part of an ongoing investigation, RCMP officers executed a search warrant at a property on the 4500 block of Lazelle Ave. on the morning of May 18. Upon entering the premises, officers took a number of individuals into custody.

The investigation is continuing with the expectation of bringing charges against individuals involved.

Terrace RCMP detachment commander Staff Sergeant Terry Gillespie, lauded the operation’s success, emphasizing the positive impact on community safety.

“Anytime we can remove drugs and weapons from our streets, it directly contributes to a safer community, especially as we move into a long weekend,” said Gillespie.
