Terrace RCMP will be issuing “positive tickets” to youth this summer. In June, July, and August RCMP will be looking for young people who are out and about doing good things in the community.

This includes a variety of healthy, positive lifestyle choices which could include wearing a bike helmet, volunteering in the community, assisting an elderly person, or doing physical activity.

Youth who are “caught” doing positive things by RCMP may receive a positive ticket. The tickets will be redeemable at one of the community sponsor locations for a prize.

Some prizes include ice cream, chocolate bars, chips, fries, drinks, and other food and snack items. Each positive ticket handed out during this campaign will include one entry into a draw for additional prizes which will be drawn on September 2.

Grand Prizes include two fishing rods with tackle kits donated by Fish Tales, five $100 gift cards donated from Wild Bike, one $100 gift card for game credits donated by Bubble Land and four $50 gift cards for A&W.
