AT Carol Leclerc's campaign headquarters this evening, city councillor Bruce Bidgood and former mayor Jack Talstra commented on how the evening was turning out.

"I never expected it to be so close," said Bidgood.

"Looks great for the province, in my view," said Talstra.

At about that time, 64 or 82 polls were reporting for Skeena giving NDP Robin AUstin 3,482 votes and Carol Leclerc 3,192.

Conservative candidate Mike Brousseau had 480 votes and BC Party candidate Trevor Hendry had 167 votes.
