A PRINCE RUPERT teen missing since Dec. 19 has been found, Prince Rupert RCMP reported this afternoon.

“Please be advised that the 18 year old female who was reported missing yesterday has been located,” police said in a statement.

Julia Ridley had been missing since the evening of Dec. 19 when she said she was going to a neighbour’s residence to watch TV. She never returned home.

And that touched off a search for Ridley.

“The Prince Rupert RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance,” police said in the statement.
