Power tools stolen

THIEVES BROKE into a workshop on the 4700 block of Scott Ave. twice in the past week, taking numerous items with them.

The break-ins are believed by the property owner to have occurred between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. March 23 and 25 while the property owner was downtown, said police.

A lock had been cut off the workshop door and stolen were expensive power tools, including a power nailer, electric drills, chainsaws and jerry cans of gasoline.

Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call the Terrace RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Information leading to the arrest of persons responsible for a crime may be eligible for a cash reward.
