Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 27 calls for service on July 18.

Here are some of the calls:

Terrace RCMP received a request to assist another RCMP detachment with a theft file.

A man was intoxicated at an address on Hall Street. He was arrested for Cause a Disturbance and lodged in cells to sober up safely.

An intoxicated woman was banging on doors in the Eby Street area. Police patrolled the area and located the woman. She was arrested for Cause a Disturbance and lodged in cells to sober up safely.

Police responded to a prowler report on Kalum Street. A woman reported an unknown man had removed the screen to one of her windows. Police provided security advice and patrolled the area.

A child’s motorbike was reported stolen from an address on Kenney Street. Under investigation.

A teenager was reported missing. Police located her at a friend’s house.

A panhandler was reported on Lakelse Avenue. He was gone upon police arrival.

An intoxicated woman was reported as falling off a bench on Lakelse Avenue. Police attended and arrested a woman for Cause a Disturbance. She was lodged in cells to sober up safely.

Dogs were reported in a hot vehicle on Keith Avenue. Police attended and checked on the dogs, which were not in distress and were being cared for.

A license plate decal was reported missing.

An intoxicated person was swearing at people on Kalum Street. Police patrolled the area.

A found phone was brought to the Terrace detachment. Police attempted to identify its owner.

A woman with a baby was hitchhiking on Hwy 16 W. Police attended and spoke with the woman about the dangers of hitchhiking and waited with her until a friend picked her up.

Police assisted the hospital with an aggressive patient.

A driving complaint was received for a vehicle on Lakelse Avenue. Police contacted the vehicle’s owner.

Police received a report of a probation breach. Under investigation.

Two intoxicated people were reported on the street at Grieg Avenue and Atwood Avenue. Police attended and the two were taken to hospital by EHS.

Police received a report of a mean-spirited meme posted on social media. Officers discussed methods to try and have it removed.

A woman was heard yelling for police at an address on Hanson Street. Police attended and spoke to those present, who were arguing over a phone.

An unwanted intoxicated woman was reported at a residence on Mills Street. Police attended. EHS transported the woman to hospital. A man present at the location reported his wallet missing. Under investigation.

A breach of sentencing order was reported. Under investigation.

An intoxicated man was swearing at people on the Sande Overpass. Police located and arrested the man for Cause a Disturbance by being intoxicated in public.

Police conducting patrols in the downtown area observed a man breaching his no-contact conditions. The man was arrested for breach and for a warrant out of another RCMP detachment.

Police received intelligence information.

A missing person was reported. Under investigation.
