Police search for robber after meat market is broken into

The incident occurred at 1:11 in the morning on Tuesday, April 26.

According to RCMP, bolt cutters were used to remove the lock on the premises, and entry gained by smashing the glass of the front door.

An amount of money and cigarettes were stolen.

RCMP describe the person as being small in stature, between 20 to 30 years of age, and wearing dark clothing, a baseball hat and white running shoes.

Const. Angela Rabut said video footage was not clear enough to identify the person as male or female.

The Thornhill Meat Market is located in Thornhill on Clark St.
