Police find drunk man passed out on ATV

The Terrace RCMP responded to 104 calls for service from April 11th, 8 AM till April 14th, 8 AM.

The Terrace RCMP responded to 104 calls for service from April 11th, 8 AM till April 14th, 8 AM. During the same time period there have been twenty people lodged in Terrace cells. Eleven of these people were lodged for intoxication.

A white 1994 Dodge Caravan and a grey 2011 Mazda 3 collided on Lazelle Ave by the Credit Union. Both vehicle sustained moderate damage. No injuries.

A white 2009 Dodge Caliber and a white 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt collided in the parking lot of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Damage was minor to both vehicles. No injuries.

A suicidal 27 yr old woman. A family member received injuries when wrestling a weapon away from her. Both were transported to Mills Memorial Hospital.

An intoxicated 24 yr old woman received injuries when she attempted to urinate outside and fell flat on her face. Police arrested the woman.

A blue 2012 Ford Escape was pulled over on Old Lakelse Lake Dr/Clarke St. The 19 yr old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was arrested and provided two samples of breath that were over the legal limit. He was served a Prohibition. The vehicle was impounded.

A rock was thrown through the window of a residence on Hanson St. Checks were done of the area.

A white 2005 Dodge truck driving in an erratic manner on Hwy 16 at New Remo. Police pulled the vehicle over the Kitsumkalum Tempo station. The 36 yr old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was serviced an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Domestic dispute. Police spoke with the people involved. Checks determined that the 32 yr old man was in breach of conditions to not consume alcohol. He was arrested. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

Fight on Thornhill St. Police spoke with a group of intoxicated people. A man and a woman had minor injuries. Police were unable to determine what had happened due to conflicting versions of events and the intoxication levels of the people involved. Under investigation.

A man sitting on a quad, passed out from alcohol, may have crashed into a fence, near Thunderbird. The man was uncooperative with BC Ambulance and Mills Memorial Hospital. He was arrested.

Assault. Two women with a history of not getting along made amends then commenced to party and partake in alcohol beverages. At the end of the night during an embrace one woman punched the other and pulled her hair. Under investigation.

A shuttle service delivered an intoxicated man to the Terrace Detachment when he was unable to provide an address for his delivery. Police arrested the 52 yr old man.

Intoxicated 22 yr old man passed out inside of a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. Police arrested the man. He threatened to cause harm to the police officer and was arrested for uttering threats. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A yellow Cobalt and a gray 2005 Honda Civic collided at Davis Ave/Kalum St. Both vehicle sustained minor damage. No injuries.

Domestic assault. Police arrested a 44 yr old man. He was in breach of conditions of not to consume alcohol from a similar occurrence. He is held for court.
