Northern Health is hosting a celebration event at the Sportsplex July 28 to mark the end of its mass vaccination campaign in Terrace.

Dubbed the ‘VAX the NORTH,’ the event will feature both a drop-in vaccine clinic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a celebration between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The clinic is open to anyone aged 12 and up for first or second doses. According to Northern Health, the event will have live music, door prizes and free food from Lola’s Specialty Filipino Foods and Chef’s Global Fusion.

While the mass vaccination campaign is wrapping up, Northern Health will be providing ‘catch up’ clinics at the Terrace Health Unit throughout August. People seeking a shot at those clinics need to book an appointment by calling the health unit at 250-631-4200.
