HOW many kayak helmets does a person need?
Chris Gee has three and it's one of the reasons he decided to organize a sports and outdoor equipment swap meeting this Wednesday May 4.
"We all have something packed away we perhaps don't use any longer," said Gee of what might be accumulated in a person's home.
"My girl friend's friends come over and they trade clothes so I thought I could do the same with equipment," he said.
Gee, an ardent recycler who has developed a past time of building bikes from parts he's scrounged, worries that people may be tempted to throw perfectly good items away.
The swap meet takes place at the Elks Hall on Tetrault St. Set up starts at 4:30 pm and doors open at 5:30 pm until 9 pm.
