Missing man search moves to Thornhill Mountain

TERRACE RCMP are asking for public assistance to help find Daniel Driediger.

WHILE the search for two missing mushroom pickers continues east of Terrace, search and rescue volunteers have begun looking for another missing man.

Daniel Driediger, 50, was last seen the evening of Sept. 20, leaving his Park Ave. residence on foot, reported Terrace RCMP Sept. 26.

Efforts shifted Sept. 27 to Thornhill Mountain close to Terrace when several search and rescue volunteers broke off from the search for the mushroom pickers to comb the area on ATVs, reports Terrace RCMP Constable Angela Rabut. She said information was received pointing searchers to the Thornhill Mountain area.Police and search volunteers are working with the family to find Driediger, said Rabut.

Driediger is described as 6 ft. tall (183 cm), weighing 196 lbs (89 kg), has blond/grey hair, blue eyes and a moustache.

He was last seen wearing grey work pants, work boots, a plaid hooded jacket, and a green canvas jacket.
